Aerodynamic Resistance

This class simulates the effects of aerodynamic resistance. Parameters:


  • Cx drag coefficient of the vehicle. Its a dimensionless quantity that is used to quantify the drag or resistance of an object in a fluid environment such as air or water. It depends on the shape of vehicle. Typical values 0.3 - 0.5.


  • Area Frontal area of the vehicle in square meters. Typical value 1.8.


  • Drag Force (READ ONLY) actual drag force exerted by aerodynamic resistance.
